Resources

On our Resource pages governors will find invaluable information about governance.

Top of the list is the NGA Legal Service; launched in May 2009 this has been a long standing ambition for the NGA and we are delighted that Anthony Collins Solicitors have agreed to partner the NGA in the scheme.

The NGA Guidance pages contain our detailed Guidance Papers; there are also pages devoted to resources offered by government departments and agencies. This guidance has often been produced in concert with the NGA - to ensure that the information is tailored to governors' needs.

There is information about Training, in particular the NGA First Certificate, which offers a way for new Governors to evidence their learning.

You will also find information about the GovernorLine advice service and about GovernorMark, the quality mark and self assessment system for governing bodies.

There is also a brief guide to resources on other websites which may be useful or of interest and a glossary of education abbreviations and terms.
