Annual General Meeting 2021
On Saturday 27 November 2021, our Annual General Meeting (AGM) takes place at 3:30 at the ICC in Birmingham. The AGM is a brilliant opportunity for you to put questions to NGA’s Chair, Lynn Howard, as well as the Chief Executive, Emma Knights, and her team. The AGM will follow immediately after our Annual Conference.
As a member, your vote matters more than ever. Voting will take place in person at the AGM.

There are several resolutions which have been put forth in this year’s AGM notice, including suggested amendments to the Articles of Association. To view the resolutions please see the AGM notice. As the AGM will be held in person this year, voting will be done in person. If you are not able to attend you can exercise your right to vote via a proxy. Members have the following voting rights:
Individual members each have the right to vote.
School or trust governing board have one vote, as it is the governing board who is considered to be a member. For Standard and GOLD members the vote may only be cast by the Chair of Governors/Trustees, or a formally authorised person with evidence of minutes showing authorisation.
Local Associations have one vote per association. For Local Association members the vote may only be cast by the Chair of the association or a formally authorised person with evidence of minutes showing authorisation.

Question and answer
The AGM will include a question and answer session to ensure that all members can pose questions regarding the resolutions that have been put forward.
