At the end of May 2018, NGA gave written evidence to the House of Commons Education Select Committee's inquiry into school and college funding.
Key points from NGA's submission:
- NGA supports funding reform but does not think there is sufficient funding in the system;
- Governors and trustees who are NGA members rank funding as their number one concern;
- Pupil premium funding must be retained;
- Schools need certainty of funding for at least three years.
