Boards are required to agree a disciplinary procedure to handle cases of alleged staff misconduct. In most cases, the school's senior executive leader will handle disciplinary issues. However, those governing will become involved where an employee appeals a decision made by the executive leader, or where the allegations concern the senior executive leader.
