NGA’s Annual Conference will be taking place in Central Birmingham.
Come and listen to an exciting line up of speakers focusing on current issues affecting school governance at local and national levels, as well as visiting a wide range of exhibitors.
Emma Knights, NGA Chief Executive, will be delivering the Annual Address. Adam Boddison, Chief Executive of the National Association for Special Educational Needs (nasen) will be delivering the keynote speech on the governance of SEND.
We are also very pleased to welcome Sinéad McBrearty, Chief Executive of the Education Support Partnership who will be talking about the governing board's role in staff wellbeing, and Caroline Copeman, who is a senior visiting Fellow at Cass Business School, who will be showcasing her specialist experience in strategy development and planning in governance.
The conference will be followed by our Annual General Meeting at 4.30 pm. To allow ample time for discussion during the AGM a set finish time is not provided. The suggestion is for a minimum one hour.
Our national conferences allow members to hear the latest news on a range of issues as well as providing opportunities to network and share best practice.
This conference is free for NGA members. Please note that one place is allocated for an individual member, two places for corporate membership and three places for Gold membership.
