Community MATs Network

14/05/2019

09:30 - 15:15

Birmingham

The next meeting of the Community MATs Network will be held on Tuesday 14 May 2019 in central Birmingham.

It is a great opportunity for trustees, academy committee members, governance professionals and clerks of multi-academy trusts (MATs) to come together, discuss their experiences and share best practice.

NGA's director of policy and information, Sam Henson and research manager, Tom Fellows will be presenting on our upcoming governance policy and practice publication: Governing multi academy trusts: past, present & future.

This will be followed by an open forum discussion around the key themes including: organisational identity: ethos, vision, ethics, culture, behaviour, relationships, communication, information management, due diligence, risk and others.

We are also thrilled to announce two guest speakers for the event: Andrew Warren, Regional Schools Commissioner for the West Midlands and Liz Holmes, chair of trustees at the Faringdon Academy of schools.

If you are governing or clerking in a MAT, and would like to book a place at this event, please email events@nga.org.uk

If you have any questions about the event or the network, please get in touch with: Sam Henson: sam.henson@nga.org.uk
