Earlier this summer we reported some of the headline findings from the NGA/TES survey; the largest annual survey of governors and trustees in England. This year, the survey received a record breaking 5821 responses, giving us a better insight into what governors and trustees think than ever before.

Congratulations to everyone working in Education who received an honour in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list 2015, published Friday 12 June. This year the list recognises 108 people for their service to education and children’s services including headteachers, classroom teachers, school governors and others, although it is of course for NGA an especial pleasure to see honours for voluntary contributions, and specifically for school governance.
