Programme journey

This is a leadership programme designed for those currently in a chairing role, or those who are aspiring to chair, and will include:

  • Three virtual face-to-face sessions focusing on leadership development
  • access to interactive e-learning modules and resources
  • participation in action learning sets and peer to peer support groups
  • In addition to the standard elements of the programme, participants can choose to purchase add-ons to complement their learning at any point during the course:

  • A 360 degree appraisal which is designed specifically to highlight both best practice, and areas of development. The 360 degree appraisal differentiates between those currently chairing, those in a vice-chair role, and those aspiring chairs of the future, ensuring the information collected, and the analysis of feedback is appropriate for your role. The 360 degree appraisal has a repeat element and a comparator report is produced to demonstrate progress. The 360 degree appraisal can be carried out within a 12-month period
  • Mentoring with an NGA consultant. Mentoring can be conducted either by phone or a virtual face-to-face platform, and individual support and advice provided as dictated by a participant’s unique circumstance.
