An integral role, clerks of trusts and committees need to have strong governing knowledge in order to advise members effectively. We have designed this engaging module specifically for this purpose to ensure clerks can develop their knowledge and understand the nature of their clerking role.
Upon completion of this module, you will understand the terminology used in academies governance and be able to effectively advise a committee of its powers and responsibilities.
You will also develop your knowledge of the nature of governance in different forms of trusts and be able to support them in fulfilling statutory duties.
