Briony works as a governance consultant for a large not-for-profit educational service delivering external reviews of governance. She is also a freelance consultant working on vision, strategy, business planning and grants management, mainly in the tourism and sports sectors. She previously held strategic planning roles for the National Trust and the English Tourism Council.
Briony has been a governor for 12 years and has just completed a four year term of office as chair of a voluntary aided Church of England Primary School. The school was highly commended in the 2019 NGA Outstanding Governance Awards for Vision and Strategy.
Briony has recently completed an MSc with the Open University in Environmental Management.
