If your governing body is considering forming or joining a multi academy trust (MAT), then this session is integral to ensuring you have factored in all the risks, challenges and benefits of doing so.
As the leading independent source of information and support for school governance, we recommend all boards attend this session before any formal decisions are made.
The purpose of the session
The decision to form or join a MAT is one of the biggest decisions the governing board of a maintained school, or the trust board of a single academy trust will make. - Why vision and ethos matter
- The legalities and the role of the trust board in a MAT
