How is NGA training delivered?
We offer both standard and bespoke sessions to suit the specific needs and budgets of governing boards and their trustees or governors.
Delivery can be either face-to- face or virtually via Zoom.
Sessions are typically 2 hours but we regularly deliver training of longer and shorter durations.
Sessions can be bespoken to the particular circumstances of the school or trust. For example, we design sessions and programmes for multi academy trusts specific to the trust context reflecting how governance is actually delegated and priority areas for training so that participants are clear as to their roles and the roles of others in the trust and what good practice looks like.
We deliver a range of training approaches but experience has shown us that the greatest impact is achieved through smaller group training. So we would recommend that groups are capped at 20 for virtual delivery via Zoom and 25 for face to face delivery.
