Jonathan Roe
NGA Consultant
Jonathan is an NGA consultant who draws on his experience as CEO of a 10-school multi academy trust and in governance roles across maintained schools. His work has given him insight into governance at board level as well as the role of local governing bodies in both primary and secondary schools.
Through his consultancy with NGA, Jonathan supports boards and governance professionals with training and strategic development, working alongside chairs to strengthen leadership and practice.
He has a particular interest in promoting inclusive education and encouraging the active involvement of parents in school life. Jonathan is also committed to developing ‘constituent voice’, ensuring that the perspectives of pupils, parents, and staff are heard and inform decision-making across all layers of governance.
