Bobby Thandi
Treasurer
Bobby was elected to the board by members from the East Midlands in November 2021 and elected treasurer in December 2022.
Bobby is a serving trustee at Learn Academies Trust and deputy chief executive and chief financial officer at L.E.A.D. Academy Trust, both in the East Midlands. He leads the business support functions and commercial operations for the trust.
Over his career, Bobby has been involved in business development, change management, mergers, charity law and governance across a range of settings including education, social care, local authorities, police, NHS and the Audit Commission.
He is also the Network Leader for the East Midlands Finance Directors Forum facilitating collaboration across the sector.
