Janice Light
Janice was appointed to the board in December 2023.
Janice has been a governor at Roundhay School in Leeds since 2009, involved in its growth to become a Through School and one of the largest schools in the country. She chairs the Resources committee, is active in risk management, vision and strategy development, SDP monitoring, is a link governor for the large 6th form (583 students in the last academic year); and is link governor for Maths, Science, Careers and CPD.
Janice built learning and development businesses in Spain and Poland, retiring officially in 2017 but still supporting the teams since then. Before that, she was an independent consultant, working with British Gas and BT in strategy development, change management, project management, benefits realisation and team development.
