Adele Haysom MBE
NGA Consultant
Adele has been an NGA consultant since 2022, undertaking external review of governance and training for NGA consultancy. Since 2004 she has served on governing boards of maintained schools and trusts in the primary, secondary phases including special schools and schools with a church foundation, many of these years have been as chair. She has been appointed to interim boards to strengthen governance and has led boards through time of rapid growth and mergers.
Adele’s early professional experience as a qualified management accountant, her current business experience as a company director alongside her wide board experience has shaped her belief in the power of effective governance in creating a culture of high expectations of all stakeholders.
