Anthony Kent
NGA Consultant
Anthony is a consultant with NGA, supporting school and trust governance through reviews, training, strategy sessions, and leadership development. With over 18 years in governance, he has chaired governing boards in both primary and secondary settings, and worked across maintained schools, academies, and MATs. His experience includes roles at LGB, trustee, and interim CEO level, giving him insight into both strategic oversight and operational challenge.
Anthony also delivers governance training and external reviews with HfL Education and serves as a strategic leader of governance in Hertfordshire. Alongside governance, he is a licensed insolvency practitioner and finance director in a property development company. He believes strong governance enables leaders to thrive and is passionate about clarity of vision, confident decision-making, and ensuring boards make a measurable impact.
