Erica Wilson
NGA Consultant
Erica is part of NGA’s consultancy team and has over 20 years’ experience in school and trust governance.
Erica has worked with the NGA since 2014, developing materials and sessions for NGA Learning Link and Leading Governance as well as bespoke requests.
She is currently a facilitator and mentor for the Leading Governance Development Programme and the Clerking Essentials programme and delivers bespoke training sessions for governance professionals in schools, trusts and other organisations for the NGA.
Erica became an accredited LA clerk and trainer after volunteering as a school governor. She is an independent governance professional with extensive experience in schools and trusts and has also worked with local authorities and MATs writing and delivering training to governance professionals, clerks and governors.
Erica strongly believes that having a valued and well-trained governance professional is crucial for effective governance.
