George Craig
NGA Consultant

George has been part of NGA’s consultancy team since 2014, working with schools and trusts in a variety of settings. He supports governing boards and governance professionals through governance reviews, training, performance management, and strategic development, drawing on his experience as a National Leader of Governance and NLG Advocate. He is currently chair of an Interim Executive Board.
George has chaired governing boards across the maintained and academy sectors, including multi academy trusts, special schools, and faith schools. His consultancy work has included governance reviews, IRP training and hearings, performance management, complaints and grievance processes, and trust growth strategies. All his work is delivered through NGA’s quality-assured services and tailored to the needs of each organisation.
Alongside this, George has been a school improvement adviser since 2012 and holds the NPQEL accreditation. He has supported schools to strengthen leadership and achieve positive Ofsted outcomes.
