Janet Myers

Janet supports schools and trusts through training, governance reviews, and development programmes. She works with governing boards and governance professionals across different settings, including primary and secondary schools, MATs, and maintained sectors.
She has been a school governor since 2009 and has served as both chair and parent governor. Her consultancy work spans board development, leadership planning, performance review, and organisational change. Recent projects include developing inclusive board cultures, supporting new governance professionals, and helping boards adapt to structural change.
Janet draws on 12 years of corporate experience leading global operations, large-scale transformation, and stakeholder engagement across the UK, US, India, and the Philippines. She also worked with public sector organisations on customer service and organisational improvement.
She believes strong governance is rooted in curiosity, inclusion, and clarity — helping leaders and boards make better decisions, together.
