NGA Consultant
Monica is an NGA Consultant and Head of Governance at a large multi academy trust in the Midlands.
She brings extensive experience as a Chair of Governors, Trustee and National Leader of Governance, having worked across maintained schools and multi-academy trusts in a wide range of contexts.
She supports boards, governance professionals and senior leaders through governance reviews, tailored training, leadership development and mentoring.
Monica’s work includes strengthening trust governance frameworks, supporting chairs and governance professionals in complex environments, leading safeguarding and compliance improvement, and developing strategic clarity across boards.
With a background in governance development, compliance and learning design, Monica brings both technical expertise and a strong understanding of board dynamics. She holds a CIPD Level 5 in Learning and Development and is a Safer Recruitment accredited trainer.
She believes effective governance is built on clarity, courage and collaboration, enabling leaders to focus on improving outcomes for children.
