Cheryl Kuit
Cheryl was elected to the board by members from the South East in November 2025.
Cheryl brings a strong governance background, with 10 years’ experience in the education sector and two years as PCC Secretary under Charity Commission regulations in Sussex. She is committed to helping the Board uphold its charitable purposes and ensuring governors have the tools they need to be effective.
Her extensive clerking experience complements her governance knowledge, and her commitment to best practice has been recognised nationally. Cheryl is skilled in risk management and reporting, and she brings both challenge and support to the Executive team, using influence and collaboration to achieve results.
Enthusiastic and values-driven, Cheryl looks forward to contributing to the wider education sector, engaging in strategic thinking, and supporting NGA in equipping trusts, governors, and governance professionals.
