Growing your multi academy trust
Trustees play a vital role in steering the growth of a MAT. While much of the work is driven by your MAT’s CEO and executive team, the board is ultimately responsible for the decisions taken about a MAT’s structural development and consolidation. This means first shaping the strategic direction of growth plans to ensure full alignment with the vision and values of the trust.
To support you in navigating conversations about growing your MAT, NGA is hosting a free webinar to discuss:
- Some of the principles that should underpin longer term aspirations for successful growth.
- The development of a growth strategy and its role in supporting decision making.
- The different ways of growing and how benefits can be harnessed to improve the quality of education and lives of the pupils you serve.
- The collaboration needed between key individuals in and outside of the trust to ensure growth is a shared endeavour.
