Our SEND Network meeting offers attendees an opportunity for those involved in governance to share insights, exchange good practice, and engage in meaningful discussion around key issues in relation to SEND.
We’re delighted to announce that at our next meeting, Adam Boddison OBE will be providing an overview of the national landscape of SEND provision in schools. He will also share his views on the inclusion toolkit in the proposed Ofsted framework and the potential governance implications. Lastly, Adam will explore how AI is currently being used by schools both in the boardroom and in the classroom.
Adam is an experienced Governor, Trustee and Executive Leader. In addition to more than a decade of experience of school and Trust governance, he has held multiple Chair roles within the education and charity sectors. Adam also spent six years as CEO of NASEN (National Association for Special Educational Needs) and was Chair of Whole School SEND. In 2022, Adam was awarded the OBE for services to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
