NGA completes hundreds of ERGs each year, helping boards assess effectiveness and plan improvements. MATs are advised to undertake an ERG every three years.


New Attendance Expectations

The DfE has introduced Attendance Baseline Improvement Expectations (ABIEs), with AI-generated targets from 2026. Schools have received indicative ABIEs for 2025/26 to prepare.
