Appointing and removing trustees, amending the articles and holding the board to account.

Staying informed without interfering , knowing when and how to step in and understanding financial compliance.

Communicating effectively

Working with trustees and governance professionals and what information members need to receive and how often.

Legal frameworks

DfE, ESFA, charity/company law and your trust’s articles explained.

Avoiding pitfalls

Overstepping boundaries, failing to act when required and lack of engagement.
