What are the benefits?

Participants will develop a sound understanding of what safeguarding is and how pupils should kept safe when at school. Using a combination of engaging learning activities, scenarios and key documents to review, you will have the opportunity to explore how your board should approach safeguarding in your school organisation.

The session focuses on practical good governance and sensible approaches and provides useful questions and templates so that participants gain the confidence to contribute effectively to safeguarding in their school or trust.
