We explain our findings about the impact of the new framework on governors and outline what has improved and what could be improved to support governors and trustees.Â
Co-Chief Executive
As NGA’s Co-Chief Executive, Emma promotes the interests of the school governance community nationally with legislators, policy makers, education sector organisations and the media. Emma is an accomplished writer and speaker on a range of school governance policy and practice topics.
Director of Policy and Communications
Sam oversees NGA’s policy, communications and research services, supporting NGA to achieve positive change in the policy of school governance. He is the policy lead for NGA’s work on the governance of multi academy trusts.
Senior Policy and Research Officer
Nina’s role entails developing NGA’s policy agenda and positions, adding to the learning of the organisation and improving the governance of schools. She is responsible for policy relating to Ofsted and the broad, balanced curriculum.
