Module description

To what extent do you understand the core purpose of your school organisation? Do you understand how the curriculum that you offer fits into pupils overall education and preparation for life at 18? You will explore the answers to these questions and more over the course of this module. You will also understand the responsibilities your governing board has in terms of pupils with special education needs and disabilities, disadvantaged pupils, and equality and discrimination.

This module provides underpinning knowledge necessary for you to be able to work strategically, challenge effectively and contribute to decisions made by your board.
