MAT growth strategy
Use this guide to explore why multi academy trusts grow and how to develop a growth strategy.
Trustees play a vital role in steering the growth of a multi academy trust (MAT). In navigating these conversations, MATs are encouraged to develop a strategy (sometimes known as a growth plan) that sets out its long-term aspirations and growth objectives. A well-considered strategy enables purposeful, planned and proportionate growth that reflects a MAT’s charitable objectives.
This guide equips trustees with the key considerations needed to engage in meaningful conversations around growth and in developing an effective growth strategy in partnership with their CEO.
