Can I buy Learning Link as an individual?
Unfortunately not, a Learning Link subscription is designed for the full governing board to experience and use.
Does the Learning Link subscription fee only cover one governor?
No, the Learning Link subscription fee covers everyone on the governing board including clerks and directors.
How do I access Learning Link?
If you’ve never used Learning Link before you will need to self-register for an account by completing this form. When selecting the school in which you govern, enter the school’s postcode into the search bar at the top of the school list and then select from the available schools. Once you have confirmed your registration, you will have to wait for approval. This can take up to 24 hours during the week. Registration requests are not accepted during weekends.
Once your registration request has been accepted, you will receive an email from email@example.com containing your login details. This email can end up in your spam/junk inbox so be sure to check there if you haven’t received anything.
If you already have a Learning Link account, you will need to login here. This is the Learning Link login page and is not to be confused with the NGA Membership login area. If you have forgotten your password, click ‘Forgotten Your Password’ and follow the instructions to receive password reset instructions via email.
How does my school get access to Learning Link?
Your school will need to purchase a subscription to Learning Link by completing our online application form here. We will then send the school an invoice and once payment has been processed, we will contact the school with instructions for the governing board.
How much does Learning Link cost?
A Learning Link subscription is valid for 12 months and covers everyone on the governing board including clerks and directors. The subscription fee varies depending on the kind of Membership your school has with the NGA:
GOLD Membership - £75
Standard Membership - £110
Non-Members - £150

I’ve tried to login and it says my account is deactivated, what does that mean?
If your account has been deactivated it means your school no longer subscribes to Learning Link. In order to regain access to Learning Link your school will need to re-subscribe to Learning Link.
We cleanse the system of inactive accounts once a year. To ensure that your account does not get deleted, you will have to login to your Learning Link account at least once during the year.
If you believe that your school has a subscription to Learning Link, please email email@example.com concerning this issue and the team will look into this for you.
What modules are available on Learning Link?
You can find detailed lists of the type of modules we offer here. Modules are updated 1 – 2 times a year to ensure they remain accurate and reflect changes in policy and legislation. We are always developing new content and will be adding to the suite of available modules in the near future.
Why can’t I find my school on the self-registration form?
At the top of the school list in the self-registration form you will find a search box. This box can easily be missed if you have begun to scroll through the list.
You will need to type in your school’s postcode and select your school before continuing with the self-registration process. If you can’t find your school after doing this it may be because your school hasn’t subscribed to Learning Link or their subscription hasn’t started yet.
