Our AI toolkit and policy builder have been developed in partnership with Google for Education. These resources are designed to help governors and trustees build an understanding of AI in education, start meaningful conversations with school leaders and provide effective oversight.

The resources include:

  • AI toolkit with clear definitions, an exploration of risks and benefits, guidance on AI tool selection and questions for governors and trustees to ask.
  • AI policy builder with practical discussion points and examples to help schools and trusts develop their own approach to using AI safely, effectively and ethically.
  • AI discussion slides to provide a starting point for board conversations ahead of AI policy development.
