Health and safety
Learn how governing boards ensure that legal responsibilities are being met and how to monitor health and safety effectively.
The governing board has a responsibility to ensure that neither pupils nor employees are put at unnecessary risk while at school or on school business.
The governing board oversees health and safety at a strategic level, influencing the management, culture and performance of health and safety.
