Admission arrangements must be determined under the 2014 School Admissions Code. All admission authorities, whether they are maintained schools or academies, are required to implement the changes outlined in the updated Code. For community and voluntary controlled schools, the local authority will be the admissions authority; in foundation and voluntary aided schools, it will be the governing board; and in academies, it will be the academy trust.
