Learn how governing boards evaluate the impact of physical education (PE) and sport premium spending.

Update: PE and sport premium transition
Schools will be provided with a final PE and sport premium payment in the autumn term 2026/27 which may be spent throughout the academic year. The premium will be replaced by a new PE and School Sport Partnerships Network which is expected to begin operating in Spring 2027.
Reporting requirements remain unchanged for this academic year and governing boards should continue to monitor spending.

- evaluate the impact of spending on pupil outcomes
